Shot Tracker

ShotTracker is a server-side analytics mod that automatically tracks and records every shot attempt during gameplay. It runs exclusively on the server/host to prevent duplicate tracking and only captures data during active play. Shot Types Tracked - Shot - Attempt toward the goal that misses the goalie - Shot on Goal - Attempt that hits the goalie - Goal - Puck enters the net Data Recorded Per Shot - Player name, jersey number, and team - Goalie name defending the target goal - Player and puck 3D positions at time of shot - Shot speed (m/s) and direction vector - Target goal (Blue/Red) - Period number and overtime flag - Goalie hit position (for Shots on Goal) - Timestamp Session Data - Server name - Session start time - Physics settings (gravity, puck mass, drag, angular drag, max speed) File Output Data is saved as JSON to the dedicated server directory: config/ShotTracker/shot_tracker_YYYY-MM-DD_HH-MM-SS.json A new file is created at the start of each game. Files persist across games for post-game analysis, coaching review, or statistical visualization. JSON Structure SessionStart - ISO timestamp of when the session started ServerName - Name of the server Physics - GravityX, GravityY, GravityZ, PuckMass, PuckDrag, PuckAngularDrag, MaxSpeed, MaxAngularSpeed Shots - Array of shot records containing: - PlayerName - Name of the shooter - PlayerNumber - Jersey number - Team - Blue or Red - GoalieName - Name of the goalie defending the target goal - PlayerPositionX/Y/Z - Shooter's 3D position - PuckPositionX/Y/Z - Puck's 3D position at time of shot - ShotSpeed - Speed in m/s - ShotType - Shot, Shot on Goal, or Goal - TargetGoal - Blue or Red - DirectionX/Y/Z - Normalized shot direction vector - Period - Period number (1, 2, 3, or 4+ for overtime) - IsOvertime - True if period is overtime - Timestamp - ISO timestamp of the shot - GoalieHitPositionX/Y/Z - 3D position where puck hit the goalie (Shots on Goal only)
