Escalating Worms

One worm was bad enough. Escalating Worms turns every normal worm encounter into the beginning of a growing nightmare. Start with a small wave, survive it, and the next one brings even more worms—climbing until it reaches the limit chosen by the host. Each worm erupts from its own randomized underground position instead of stacking into one predictable attack. In multiplayer, the wave rotates across living players so the whole party gets to panic. Host configuration Starting worms — choose the size of the first encounter. Worms added per wave — decide how quickly the danger escalates. Maximum worms — set a hard cap that suits your group and machine. Spawn spacing — spread emergence points farther apart for a wider attack. The counter resets when the party returns to the park. If the game cannot find a safe underground origin for every requested worm, it skips the unsafe spawn instead of forcing one into a broken position. Controls F6 — open Universal Mod Config and select Escalating Worms. B — host test-summon key by default. This control is disabled until enabled under DEBUG and can be rebound. The DEBUG section also contains optional wave notifications and a counter reset. All debug options are disabled by default. Multiplayer requirement Only the lobby host needs to subscribe, enable the mod, and restart Pratfall before forming the lobby. Friends receive ordinary networked worms through the game. The host owns every setting and test control. Universal Mod Config Menu is optional but recommended for in-game controls. Without it, settings can be edited at %APPDATA%/Pratfall/escalating_worms.json. Designed for Pratfall build 24260516 and later compatible builds.
