Chained Players

Turn your whole party into one glorious disaster. Chained Players connects everyone in the lobby with a fully rendered physical chain. Stay together, drag each other through danger, hang from ledges, get wrapped around cave terrain, and discover exactly how much chaos one bad decision can cause. The chain has real slack. Loose links hang, fall, and pile on the ground when players are close, then feed out and pull tight as the party separates. It can snag around ledges and corners, dangling players can load the rest of the team, and dead players remain part of the chain. Host configuration Choose the exact player order: A -> B -> C -> D. Set the chain length from cramped teamwork to generous freedom. Choose rigid, elastic, or anything between. Enable or disable terrain snagging and wrapping. Adjust chain thickness and attachment height. Show or hide player shackles. Configure emergency recovery for truly broken separations. Enable or disable the host's T toggle hotkey. Controls F6 - open Universal Mod Config and select Chained Players. If the universal menu is not installed, F6 opens the included fallback panel. T - host toggles the chain for the whole lobby when enabled. Multiplayer requirement Every player must subscribe, enable the mod, and restart Pratfall before forming the lobby. The host controls the order and settings for everyone. Check that every player says synced before starting a run. Want to try it alone? Open the DEBUG section and enable the Solo test harness during a single-player run. It creates a physical anchor so you can try the chain, elasticity, terrain wrapping, and hanging behavior without another player. Universal Mod Config Menu is optional but recommended. Designed for Pratfall build 24260516 and later compatible builds.
