Friendly Fire

Friendly Fire is a mod in Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare 2 that allows players to damage plants while playing as a plant and damage zombies while playing as a zombie. This mechanic is fully functional in Solo Play, giving players the ability to attack their own team, but it does not work in Multiplayer. The compatibility of Friendly Fire in Private Play has not been tested, so YOU will need to explore its functionality in that mode on their own.

Currently, there is no version of this mod that enables Friendly Fire in multiplayer matches. Additionally, certain characters do not work properly with this mod. While not all characters have been tested, it has been confirmed that Captain Squawk is unable to damage zombies, and Breakfast Brains is also affected by this issue. There may be other characters that experience similar problems, so further testing is encouraged to determine which ones function correctly with Friendly Fire enabled.

Another limitation of this mod is that headshots do not register when attacking teammates. For some reason, headshots are not counted when hitting members of the same team, meaning that all damage dealt will be considered body shots instead. Players using this mod should keep this in mind when engaging in combat, as they will not be able to take advantage of the increased damage normally associated with headshots. (Correct me if I'm wrong.)
