📋 About This Mod
One terminal, 13 screens. Craft anything, command every machine, trade, launch, and teleport across the system — all from your pocket. Now with mini-map.
FIELD TERMINAL
Your whole operation on one tablet — map, machines, crafting, trade, and a music player to tie it all together.
Craft the Mobile Access Platform (M. A. P.), equip it, and your map button opens a full command terminal instead of a lonely map screen. Twelve tabs put the entire colony at your fingertips — including several purpose-built screens the game doesn't have: a planet-wide extraction overview, a master crafting console, an optimizer manager, an instant barter shop, a rocket launch pad, and map-based teleportation. Plus a radio and local music player with a live visualizer.
Everything works fully on keyboard/mouse and controller, and it all runs through the game's own systems — no equipped M. A. P., no terminal, and the vanilla map behaves exactly as normal.
━━ WHAT'S NEW ━━
- HUD mini-map — hold the Map button for a corner map; tap opens the terminal.
- NAVIGATOR integration — seamless Map-button handoff between on-foot and flight.
Patch Notes for Version 1. 0. 4Version 1. 0. 4
- Launch Pad could report your materials as missing — including items in your own backpack — even when they were right there. This affected saves with more than one planet in particular. Storage the terminal wasn't certain about is now counted instead of quietly skipped.
- Building more than one rocket at a time only ever built the first one. The rest disappeared with no warning and no error. Rockets are now built one after another.
- If a rocket build failed partway through, the materials it had already taken were gone for good. The terminal now checks it can afford the whole recipe before it takes anything.
- The Optimizer screen under-reported how much room your fuse containers had when an item-stacking mod was installed, so it refused transfers that would have fit.
- A single corrupted or leftover item in a container (usually from a mod that was removed or renamed) could stop an entire storage scan, making everything downstream read as empty.
- "InventoryDiagnostics" option in the config file, off by default. Only turn it on if asked to when reporting a bug — it writes extra detail to the log to help track down storage-detection problems.
If you've had rocket builds fail on the Launch Pad, you may have quietly lost materials to the bug above. Sorry about that — it's fixed now.
I wasn't thinking clearly when I made the default Play/Pause button the NumPad 0 key. I recommend changing it to whatever fits into your potentially crowded hotkey list, but in the meantime NumPad 0 will at least no longer work while in menus. No more sudden config menu surprises.
At a glance:
• Map — teleport by clicking the a location on the map, optional resource-vein markers, browse other planets you've visited
• Extraction — every material you own, planet-wide, with live income rates; retask miners remotely
• Crafting — craft anything from anywhere; ingredients are pulled from all your containers automatically
• Optimizers — manage every optimizer's fuses from one screen
• Barter — instant buy/sell shop for Terra Tokens, no trade rocket required
• Launch Pad — queue and launch rockets in bulk
• Radio — internet radio + your own music library, with the NEBULA visualizer
• Full theming — colors, glass panels, custom backdrops, and one-click presets
Getting started
Craft the Mobile Access Platform (M. A. P.) at the Advanced Crafting Station (Map Chip, Circuit Board, Osmium, Cobalt, Magnesium, Silicon, 3× Pulsar Quartz) and equip it. Your map key/button now opens the terminal.
(In a hurry? The JustGiveItToMe config option drops one in your backpack at session start.)
The Map
The vanilla map, upgraded into a navigation hub.
Teleport from the map. When using controller, a TELEPORTERS button opens a sidebar listing every teleporter on the planet. Select/click a teleporter — in the list or on the map — and you go there. Every jump leaves a temporary Recall point where you stood, so you can always get back to where you were working (a new jump replaces it; using it consumes it).
See your resources. Ore veins, water/fish zones, and harvester spots are now higher definition, and optional. The map legend icons become click-to-toggle filters (plus
