📌 Preface

This is a new, complete rethinking of how the previous Simple Stacking mod worked, taking into account gameplay mechanics such as drone logistics, proper save-game compatibility, and full multiplayer support.

What is this mod for?

The mod allows stacking identical items, which significantly increases inventory capacity.

✨ What does it look like ?

Each inventory slot now shows a number — indicating how many items are in the stack. Items of the same type automatically merge when placed in the same container.

If a chest contains 7 pieces of iron out of a possible 10, adding one more will increase it to 8. Everything happens automatically.

⚙️ Settings

In the config, you can disable stacking for specific types of containers. Each setting includes a localized name of the storage object in the language set in the game settings, which makes it easier to navigate through the full list of options.

The default values are the result of automatic detection of the inventory type: general (A) — an inventory that accepts any item, whitelist (W) — an inventory that only accepts specific item types, and blacklist (B) — an inventory that accepts everything except certain groups. There is also a rare type, which is almost identical to A.

These defaults have been slightly manually tuned to improve stability and reduce the risk of unwanted in-game behavior.
