Upcoming feature

A free mod loader is currently in development by me and a friend. The goal is to replace the manual UABE method with a simple tool that lets you install and manage the mod much more easily. Once released, you’ll be able to install updates and future versions without manually editing game files.

Installation instructions - UABE Installation (Manual Method)

Make sure Phasmophobia and Steam are fully closed before starting (check Task Manager too).

Extract the mod zip file.

Open UABE, then go to File → Load Package File.

Navigate to:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Phasmophobia\Phasmophobia_Data

Open sharedassets2.assets and wait for it to load.

Press Ctrl + F and search for:

Tarot cards_Tarot Cards dud_AlbedoTransparency

Select it, then go to Plugins → Edit Texture → Load and choose the PNG from the mod folder.

Click Save in the texture window, then File → Save in UABE.

Launch the game and the mod should work.

Always back up your original files before editing.

A proper mod loader will be added in a future update to replace this manual method.

Main features

This mod replaces the tarot card textures in Phasmophobia with a custom NieR: Automata themed tarot card pack. The goal is purely visual, giving the in-game tarot cards a new look while keeping the original gameplay mechanics unchanged.
