### Description

Owlcat Portrait Tool is a standalone, easy-to-use desktop application for creating, managing, and exporting custom portraits for Owlcat Games' CRPGs.

Whether you have an image saved on your PC, a direct link from the web, or want to search for new character art through popular image boards, this tool handles it all. It automatically provides the exact cropping frames required by each game and exports the resulting Small, Medium, and Fulllength images directly to your game's AppData portraits folder with a single click.

### Installation instructions

This tool is a standalone Windows application, so no complex installation or mod managers are required!

1. Download the latest release `.zip` file from the Files tab.

2. Extract the contents of the `.zip` to a folder of your choice anywhere on your PC. (Make sure to keep all the extracted files together in the same folder).

3. Double-click `OwlcatPortraitTool.exe` to launch the app.

### Main features

Multi-Game Support: Automatically handles the correct portrait dimensions and AppData save paths for Pathfinder: Kingmaker, Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous, Warhammer 40k: Rogue Trader, Warhammer 40k: Dark Heresy, and Starfinder.

Built-in Image Search: Search for character art using tags across various Booru sites (Safebooru, Danbooru, Gelbooru, e621, Derpibooru, Rule34, and more) complete with built-in previews and pagination.

Flexible Image Loading: Drag and drop local images directly into the app, browse your recent files, or paste direct image URLs to load them instantly.

Intuitive Portrait Editor: Use an interactive crop canvas to easily drag and zoom your image so it fits the game's exact aspect ratio perfectly.

One-Click Export: Instantly generates the appropriately sized `Small.png`, `Medium.png`, and `Fulllength.png` files and exports them straight into your currently selected game's custom portraits folder.

### Requirements

No additional software, dependencies, or mods are required! The tool is completely standalone.

An active internet connection is only required if you want to use the URL image loading or the built-in Booru tag search features.
