Edited Default HM Portrait

This portrait uses Pathfinder: Kingmaker concept art to give the 'default' character a younger, fresher look.

The first of the game's pre-generated characters is a Human Male Fighter named Hedwirg. This character appears in the promotional art and the story events artwork alongside your companions regardless of who you chose to play as. The portrait option in-game is a little older with bags under his eyes and a narrow chin but it is clear from the concept art that an earlier iteration of the character was a young, fresh faced adventurer ready to conquer the Stolen Lands with his  derpy bowl cut. I spent ten minutes combining the two images in photoshop and this is the result.

This is not a default replacement. To use in your game, you'll need to copy the three images to one of the custom folders in your game's portrait folder (C:\Users\Username\AppData\LocalLow\Owlcat Games\Pathfinder  Kingmaker\Portraits) and access the custom portrait menu during  character creation. You may need to enable hidden folders in your control panel to access the AppData folder.

Update: version 2 is an alternate portrait which restores the bowl cut and shows the character holding a larger shield.
