  IMPORTANT: Updating (Pal Schema)

  When updating to 0. 7. 2. 3+ from any lower version, you need to first uninstall the old files due to file structure changes. To do so, you first need to find your TMR folder. If this is your first install, skip to Installation (Pal Schema).

  For Steam users, it is Palworld\Pal\Binaries\Win64\UE4SS\Mods\PalSchema\mods\TrueMonsterRancher. For Gamepass users, it is Palworld\Pal\Binaries\WinGDK\UE4SS\Mods\PalSchema\mods\TrueMonsterRancher. Once you have found it, DELETE the TrueMonsterRancher folder completely.

  Next, find your paks folder. For Steam and Gamepass users, it is Palworld\Pal\Content\Paks. For Steam users, you can just delete the TrueMonsterRancher_P.pak file here. For Gamepass users, you need to delete TrueMonsterRancher_P.pak, TrueMonsterRancher_P.ucas and TrueMonsterRancher_P.utoc.

  You can now follow the Installation (Pal Schema) instructions below, but be sure to read them carefully.

  Installation (Pal Schema)

  First install PalSchema as well as the UE4SS provided in the install instructions as both are required for this mod. Afterwards, simply open the downloaded .zip file from this mod using 7zip or a similar archival program and place the folder into your main Palworld folder. Do not place the .zip or the folder inside into any sub-directory, it will merge where it needs to be on it's own.

  Installation (Pak)

  Simply open the archive, and place the contained folder inside into your main Palworld directory.

  Compatibility

  True Monster Rancher is compatible with most existing mods. However, it uses PalSchema to patch the "DT_ItemLotteryDataTable" datatable, and could be incompatible with any mod that changes the same lines in this file. In this case, the mod which loads first will have it's lines overwritten. Complete Game Rebalance is one known mod to do this. It should not conflict with new lines, as my unique identifiers for new lines are very unlikely to be repeated. It can be installed on an existing world with no issues. It can be removed at any time. It has no known incompatibilities on a server, so long as it is installed on the server.

  Translations (Pal Schema)

  If you would like to translate the text modified by the mod, see Intro to Translations. The English localization identifiers can be found in the translations.json file in the mod.

  After installing, you will find a number of archives in the Palworld\Pal\Binaries\Win64\ue4ss\Mods\PalSchema\mods\True Monster Rancher\presets folder. "1. Reduced Rates" halves most drop rates and "2. More Reduced Rates" reduces most drop rates to one tenth of the original. Both of these presets affect vanilla drops as well.
