Theoddon's Gameplay Tweaks (Quality of Life and Balancing)

In my testing, existing rebalance/overhaul mods resulted in vastly unbalanced gameplay in the mid to late game. So I made a compilation of my own personal tweaks. I wanted to keep close to the original difficulty and grind while giving some quality of life and other small tweaks to make the game feel better. If you only want specific features, I have uploaded some standalone versions in my profile.

This Pal Schema mod allows easier user modification, better mod compatibility, and less likely to break from game updates compared to existing Pak and script mods. Fully customizable. Open any file with notepad and tweak as desired, or delete a whole file to remove that feature.

Main Features

• []Condensing now cost 4/8/12/20 instead of 4/8/12/24.[/]

  []Lucky and Alpha pals now always have 80+ IV levels.[/]

  []Player Max Upgrade Stats are now capped at 100 instead of 50. [/]

  []Inventory Carry Weight upgrades now gives +100 per point instead of +50 per point.[/]

  []Player Work Speed upgrades now gives +100 per point instead of +50 per point.[/]

  []Base Inventory Weight is now 500 instead of 300.[/]

  []All storage has been increased by roughly 2x. Note: Guild chest changes require new character/guild or this workaround.[/]

  []Ancient Bookshelf now holds a large amount of items but is limited to schematics only.[/]

  []Gold, Dog Coins, Bounty Tokens, Battle Tickets, Keys, and Pal Souls now go into the key items inventory tab.[/]

  []Pouch upgrades now give 6/6/6/6 slots instead of 3/3/3/3.[/]

  []Pal Training Manuals now give 5x XP. Higher rates available for low XP rate worlds.[/]

  []Growth Acceleration Bell and Pal XP accessories are now 5x more effective. [/]

  []Ring of Trust is now 3x more effective. [/]

  []Arena rewards have been increased by roughly 2-5x and made consistent.[/]

  []Arena Rank Points are now gained 3x faster and no points are lost when defeated.[/]

  []Awakened Pals gain 20% bonus instead of 10%.[/]

  []Lucky pal spawn chance is now 1 in 500 instead of 1 in 1000.[/]

  []Yakumo's partner skill now has a 20-50% chance to find similar passives instead of 15-30%.[/]

  []Omascul's partner skill now gives 80-160% more Pal XP instead of 40-80%.[/]

  []Nox's partner skill now has a 25-5s cooldown and it's effect lasts 60 seconds.[/]

  []Work Slave, Mercy Hit, Insomnia passives are now gold tier.[/]

  []Logging Foreman, Mine Foreman, Motivation Leader, Wellness Watcher, Whopper, Healing Coach passives are now white tier.[/]

  []Lucky passive now gives +20% Attack, +20% Defense, +30% Work Speed, and +20% Speed. [/]

  []Rainbow passives are now 40% more likely.[/]

  []Pal revive time is now 2 minutes instead of 10 minutes.[/]

  []Legendary Schematic from Alpha Pals now have a 10% chance to drop instead of 3%.[/]

  []Hold button interaction times have been reduced for junk piles, salvage piles, incubation eggs, oil rig chests, etc.[/]

  []Pal Disassembly Conveyor now has 24 slots.[/]

  []World map now reveals in a 2x larger radius. [/]

  []Wing Pack fuel consumption reduced by 50%.[/]

  []Player moves 20% faster. [/]

  []The player is no longer as slow when encumbered.[/]

Put the Theoddon's Gameplay Tweaks folder in Palworld\Pal\Binaries\Win64\ue4ss\Mods\PalSchema\mods.
