GG's Pal Variety Overhaul

Description

This mod adds variety to pals within the same species aiming to increase immersion. Other than that there are few small additional features for a fun playthrough.

Current features:

• []Randomize Size of Wild Pals spawning in groups. The size persist after capturing and save/loading.

  []Boss and Lucky/Rare pals scaling has also been added. All these scales are applied via 5 size categories that all Pals fall into natively. More on this in the config readme.

  []Randomize Colors of Wild Pals. Like size, colors will also persist. You can add your custom colors and values for saturation/value.[/]

  []Hot reload feature has been added for easily tinkering with size and color options and see the result in real-time.

  []Pals will grow from their current size to the max size set in the config file. Growth happens based on trust progress (not rank). Base pals are checked each minute while party pals are checked every time they are summoned for their current Trust progress and their size is updated accordingly.

  []Small/Tiny Pals can be disabled for riding. Rideability can also be restricted by trust level altogether in order to give the trust mechanic more substance.

  []A size display widget has been added in Pal details menu, displaying the current size and the max size. Also displays the min scale required to be eligible for riding if that option is enabled.

  []Localization config file is also provided with AI translated text which can be changed by users to further perfect the translation. This is only for the Rideability disabled text show on Pal menu.

  []Added option to grant rideability gear (saddles and certain weapons like Minigun, Hammer, etc)

  []Wild pals that spawn in groups now always have a unique leader Pal. Palworld had the system for leader pal natively but they weren't made obvious to the players. Leader Pals now are the largest among the bunch and also have a unique skill that boosts their own ATK & DEF and also Player's Atk/Def. The player portion can stack if you have multiple leader pals in party.

  []Gender based differences can be added. You can set different talent ranges, workspeed bonus, and starting Rank (souls you used to give via statue of power) of ATK/DEF/HP stat of wild pals based on gender. By default, Males are set to have better talent range and Rank for ATK while females have better DEF and work speed.

  []Work Suitability categories that made sense have been made a specialty of each gender. For e.g, Logging/Mining for males, Handicraft/Watering/Seeding for females etc. Male and Female wild pals will gain additional work suitability bonus to these categories.

  []Base pals will gain trust if found in a working state each minute. Trust can go negative if they are hungry, sick or sanity less than 60.

  []Base pals will gain work suitability ranks as they level up their Trust ranks. These ranks can happen either in their gender specific categories or universal.

  []Added option to change certain difficulty settings. Party pals damage taken rate, strong/weak point hit damage rate, etc. Also added 6 multipliers for damage done to and from boss/leader/normal pals. These multipliers are tested to only work in SP and normal MP/Coop sessions. Dedicated servers don't have this feature.[/]

  Requirements

  Installation

  Extract the zip file into your Ue4ss/Mods folder. Make sure to have PalSchema installed. The zip file also contains some PalSchema files. You don't necessarily have to place them manually. Just extract the whole zip folder into your mods folder and make sure `PalSchema` folder is already there and everything will work.

  Note: This is for old users that had this already installed. I have changed the mod name as it has grown to much more than random size only. So delete the older folder named `RandomSizedPals` and just extract the new folders from the zip.

  Configuration

  Almost everything in the mod is configurable. Hence the config file is huge and can't be documented here. The full readme file explaining all options is on my github.
