Works with steam and gamepass version.
This is a mod that loosens construction limitations. You can now create structures in the air, on water, near a palbox, overlapping buildings, and more. Itβs available in three formats: an .dll file, .exe file or a Cheat Engine table, for those who prefer not to run an .exe or .dll. For Dedicated Servers, there is a .dll mod or CE-Table. The clients still needs to be modded too.
To run the stand-alone version, you need to have . Net 8 runtime installed. You can download it https://dotnet.microsoft.com/en-us/download/dotnet/thank-... rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">here.
The following sections describe the steps needed to make the mod run. You only have to choose one of these options. For multiplayer, the server and the client needs to be modded.
DLL (client- and server-side)
- []Download " https://www.nexusmods.com/palworld/mods/1898?tab=files" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">DLL Mod for client and server "[/] []Download and install the latest https://github.com/UE4SS-RE/RE-UE4SS/releases" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">UE4SS .[/] []Extract .zip contents into mods directory of ue4ss. E.g. C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Palworld\Pal\Binaries\Win64\ue4ss\Mods\[/] []For multiplayer, you have to install it on server-side too, so extract it into the ue4ss mods folder of your server. E.g. located in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\PalServer\Pal\Binaries\Win64\ue4ss\Mods\[/]
If you did this right, the full path will look like something like this for the steam version client:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Palworld\Pal\Binaries\Win64\ue4ss\Mods\BuildingRestrictionDisabler\dlls\main.dll"
When you are ingame, you can press F9 to toogle the bypassed restrictions and to show the menu.
If you're using the .dll version, you can configure the mod to save and restore its enabled state through the config.json file, ensuring consistency between game restarts.
Stand-alone version (only client-side)
- []Start game[/] []Start Cetino. Palworld. DisableBuildingRestrictions.exe[/] []Activate features you want via checkboxes[/]
Cheat engine (client- and server-side)
-Clientside
- []https://www.cheatengine.org/" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">Download and install cheat engine[/] []Open cheat table(.ct file) matching your client.[/] []Start game[/] []Attach cheat engine to Palworld-Win64-Shipping.exe or Palworld-WinGDK-Shipping.exe process (top left glowing button)[/] []Activate scripts in the bottom part of cheat engine.[/]
- []Start server[/] []Start cheat engine (second instance if running on the same machine)[/] []Open the Server cheat table[/] []Attach cheat engine to PalServer-Win64-Shipping-Cmd process (top left glowing button)[/] []Activate the scripts you need. Modding the server-side is not enough. The clients also needs to be modded.

Both the client and server sides need to be modded!

To mod the client side, you can use any of the three options: DLL, Standalone, or Cheat Engine.
3. My server is running on Linux. How can I use the mod?
The mod is only compatible with Windows. However, there have been reports that it works on Linux when using Proton to run the Windows server executables.
4. I've installed the mod on my server, but some functions still do not work. I get red text on the left with an error message.
