4x enemy health

Description

Make Palworld combat tougher with configurable enemy health, set to 4× by default. Wild Pals and hostile human NPCs receive increased actual health, while player characters and player-owned Pals are excluded.

The multiplier works independently of your world sliders and preserves the enemy’s current health percentage when applied.

Installation instructions

Before installing, close Palworld and back up your world save. If updating the mod, back up its existing folder first. Replacing config.lua resets the multiplier to the included 4× setting.

Locate your game folder through Steam → Palworld → Manage → Browse local files.

Option 1 — UE4SS installed through Steam Workshop

First confirm that your existing loader uses this folder:

The final script location should be:

Palworld/Pal/Binaries/Win64/ue4ss/Mods/StarkyEnemyHealth/Scripts/main.luaIf your manual installation uses a different path: copy only the inner StarkyEnemyHealth folder into your existing UE4SS Mods directory. If your loader uses the Steam Workshop path, use Option 1’s layout.

Where you downloaded UE4SS does not always determine its installation path. Match the folder structure already used by your loader.

Important installation notes

  []Extract the appropriate folder from the ZIP; placing the ZIP itself in the game folder will not install it.[/]

  []The included enabled.txt activates the mod without replacing your existing mods.txt.[/]

Changing the health multiplier

With Palworld closed, open the installed mod’s:

The accepted range is 1. 0 to 10. 0. Leave the other processing settings unchanged. Save and restart Palworld after editing—do not hot-reload this mod.

Testing and compatibility

The Steam Workshop setup has been tested in-game. The manual installation option contains identical scripts, but that loader layout has not received a separate in-game test. Every boss type, ownership-transfer method, game version, and multiplayer setup has not been verified.

Other mods that modify enemy health may conflict. Keep a save backup and try a disposable test world first.

Checking that the mod works

Search your loader’s UE4SS.log for:

APPLIED entries show actual maximum health before and after scaling. A startup message alone does not confirm that health changed.

Uninstallation

• []Close Palworld.[/]

  []Move the entire StarkyEnemyHealth folder out of your UE4SS Mods directory.[/]

  []If you previously added a StarkyEnemyHealth entry to mods.txt, remove that entry.[/]

  []Restart the game.[/]

Because this package includes enabled.txt, changing only the mods.txt entry to 0 may not disable it. Leave UE4SS and your other mods installed.
