PingMod - Client Side Ping System

"There's an egg over there!" "Where?" "Well, over there..." NO MORE! PingMod allows for client-side pinging like you're used to from your favorite games. Features Client side only Ping keybind: (remappable in config.lua) Ping color derived from player name Distance shown on ping Interchangeable ping icon Dynamic alpha fading based on line-of-sight occlusion Clamp ping marker to screen edge when off-screen Remappable keybind Guild marker limit bypass How it works Pinging a location creates a custom guild marker. Clients with PingMod will see the guild marker as an in-world ping. This means even if someone doesn't have the mod they will still see the marker as long as they're in the same guild. Limitations Pinging only works within a guild Everyone in the guild can see the pings GuildMarkers take a bit of time to replicate between clients Very distant objects are not pingable Work In Progress This project is an open beta and subject to change Planned Features: Dynamic ping icon based on situation and pinged object Priority depth rendering (render ping on top of standard HUD elements) Ping sound (this turns out to be very difficult) Feedback & Bug Reports Since this is my first mod and still in open beta, feedback is super appreciated!
