PalMiniMap A live minimap for Palworld — pals, players, NPCs, chests, dungeons and fast travel points, drawn on the game's own world map. No .pak. No blueprint. No cooked assets. The whole mod is a UE4SS Lua script driving the game's own UI, so it drops in cleanly and has nothing to conflict with. Controls F1 — megazoom (region view) F2 — cycle corner F3 — show / hide F4 — edit mode: arrows move, +/- resize F5 — settings menu + / - — zoom What it shows Pals, with each species' own portrait — or only shiny ones, if you prefer Human NPCs with their real portraits, read from the game's own icon table Other players, and your death locations Chests, eggs, notes, lifmunk effigies and skillfruit trees, with collected ones hidden Fast travel points, dungeons, towers, base camps and enemy camps How it behaves Gets out of the way on its own — hides behind the Esc menu, inventory, chests and every other screen the game opens, and optionally while you are inside a base camp Zooms out as you move, so running and flying show you more ground Circular or square, any size, any corner, drag it wherever you like Rotate with the camera, or keep north up Built to stay out of your frame time No second camera. Minimap mods usually re-render the world from above every frame into a texture. This one draws the game's existing world map as a single quad instead. Icons are pooled UI widgets, allocated once and reused — not objects attached to every pal in the world. Bounded work per tick. Scans are split and spread out so no single frame does all of them. Icons ship as loose PNG files and are loaded directly, skipping the synchronous asset loads that cause hitching. Requires UE4SS (Experimental build for Palworld). Install it first — the Workshop will pull it in as a dependency. Version 2. 2. 14. Everything is configurable from the F5 menu and saved next to the mod. Originally based on Paldar by T3R3NC3B; version 2 is a complete rewrite with none of the original blueprint.
