📋 About This Mod
PalPlates Nameplates and compass markers for your guild (and optionally other players), at any distance. The game stops drawing a player's name at about 150m, so past that your only option is stopping to open the map. With this mod, every online guild member gets a nameplate with their name and distance, and a marker on the compass with their name underneath, at any range. The game's own nameplate is left alone. PalPlates stays hidden wherever the game is drawing its own and takes over when it stops, so you never get both at once. Performance was a design goal, not an afterthought. Every plate and marker is drawn by the game itself, through its own HUD, rather than painted on top of it. Requirements UE4SS Experimental (Palworld) (Steam Workshop) Subscribe to both this and UE4SS Experimental, then enable them in-game under Options -> Mod Management and restart. Multiplayer Client side. It works on any server you play on and nothing is installed on the server. A compass marker for each guild member (or optionally every player), with their name under the distance. A downed player turns red on both, gains an icon on the plate, and stops fading, so they stay readable however far out they went down. Your guild's bases on the world map recolored from the stock cyan to your guild color. (Optionally randomize the color for every base) Rendered by the engine, not pasted over it Plates and markers are real in-engine HUD elements, made with the same calls the game uses for its own, so the game draws them every frame alongside everything else. They sit on people instead of sliding around behind them when you turn. That leaves the mod idling most of the time. It speaks up only when s
