True Mercy

True Mercy Stops burn and poison from killing a pal that Mercy is keeping alive for capture. We've all been there... The Mercy Ring, Pal Tamer's Glasses, and the Mercy Hit passive stop you knocking a pal below 1 HP, but then a burn ticks and kills it at 1 HP anyway. Poison does the same. Your 10,000 damage fireball can't kill the pal, and then a 1 damage burn tick does. With this mod, burn and poison can no longer take that last point of health while Mercy applies. They still hurt normally the whole way down though. Only the final point doesn't kill them. Capture rates and damage are untouched. Requirements UE4SS Experimental (Palworld) (Steam Workshop) Subscribe to both this and UE4SS Experimental, then enable them in-game under Options -> Mod Management and restart. Multiplayer Playing solo, or hosting for friends from inside the game: subscribe on your own PC. Dedicated server: install it on the server, not on your PC. Joining someone else's server: you don't need it. Only the machine running the world does. Subscribing on your PC while you play on someone else's server does nothing at all. What's protected A pal survives at 1 HP if it was burned or poisoned by: You, wearing the Mercy Ring or Pal Tamer's Glasses A pal you're riding, while you wear the ring or glasses Any pal with the Mercy Hit passive, when you're not riding it What isn't Your pal fighting on foot, if the ring or glasses is your only source A pal you're riding that has Mercy Hit, if you aren't wearing the ring or glasses Lava, campfires and other environmental fire Wild pals fighting each other, unless one has Mercy Hit Riding a pal swaps whose Mercy counts, from the pal's to yours. That's the base game, not this mod. Config Options Optional, in Mods\TrueMercy\Scripts\config.lua: ProtectFromBurn (default true): stops burn taking a protected pal's last point of health. ProtectFromPoison (default true): the same for poison. ProtectHumanNPCs (default true): human NPCs get the same protection as pals
