Stop Drop and Roll!

This mod seeks to address an annoyance I have regarding the "Fire" status on your character. There's no way of putting out the fire unless you jump into the water. Now you can dodge roll to put out the fire. Stop drop and roll!

You can edit the _RollTimerReduction variable in the main.lua file to adjust how effective rolling is when putting out the fire. By default the value is 5, which with a 15 second fire timer comes out to roughly 3 rolls to put out the fire. You can increase this value to make rolling put out the fire even quicker, or even set it to 15 to make rolling once put out the fire.

This mod hasn't been tested with multiplayer. It should only work in a single-player world.

Installation

Xbox Game Pass

Locate Palworld's installation folder:

• []Open the Xbox app, then select Palworld[/]

  []Click "Manage Files", then "Browse". This should take you to the install folder[/]

Install UE4SS:

• []Download the latest version of UE4SS from GitHub[/]

  []Navigate to the installation folder[/]

  []Extract the UE4SS files into the "Palworld/Pal/Binaries/WinGDK/" folder[/]

  []Open UE4SS-settings.ini and make sure this parameter is set as so:

  bUseUObjectArrayCache = false[/]

Install LUA mod:

• []Copy the "Mods" folder into the "Palworld/Pal/Binaries/WinGDK/Mods/" folder where the game is installed[/]

  Steam

  Locate Palworld's installation folder:

  • []Open Steam, then right-click on Palworld[/]

    []Click the "Manage" button, then click "Browse Local Files". This should take you to the install folder[/]

  Install UE4SS:

    []Navigate to the installation folder[/]
