Description

A simple mod that lets you open the Palbox anywhere. You cannot open the Palbox while riding a Pal. This is vanilla behavior. You cannot open the Palbox while inside a dungeon, this it to avoid a dangerous bug.

Just press the hotkey and it will open the Palbox. It grabs the closest one to your current location, which only matters for determining Pals that are in a base. Otherwise it works as normal. The default hotkey is K. This can be changed using Mod Config Menu

Dedicated Servers: press INS key (insert) first for the mod to work. It only needs to be installed on the client.

All options are accessible from the Mod Config Menu.

Download the zip from the link above, extract everything into Palworld\Pal\Binaries\Win64

To help prevent crashing, in the UE4SS-settings.ini file, set bUseUObjectArrayCache to false.

How It Works

For those interested, I came up with a pretty neat workaround for opening UI since I couldn't quite figure out how to do it by normal means. All interact-able objects have an object attached to them that waits for a player to get near it before showing the in-world UI so you can press a key to open whichever menu from that object (Opening the Palbox with F for example). I found a function that executes the interact process, so I thought what if I just move the object that needs to have a player near it straight to the player themself? Then I can just launch the function to interact with the appropriate option and bam, we have remote buildings! This should theoretically work with any building that has a UI that can be opened, and I have made another mod that does this for the Monitoring Stand.
