Auto Hatch

Description

This mod aims to ease the grind of late-game breeding to get that perfect Pal. Upon installing the mod, any eggs that are created at the Breeding Farm are automatically put into an empty Egg Incubator, when the egg is ready to hatch it will automatically be hatched and put into the Palbox. Basically, just assign two Pals to breed and you will automatically keep getting the results! (As long as there's cake, of course).

Q. Does it work with Grintale/Broncherry/Broncherry Aqua partner skills?

A. Yep.

Q. On Dedicated Servers, how does the mod know which player to send the hatched Pals to?

A. There is a more technical answer, but what matters is that if you own the Pals in the Breeding Farm, you will get the hatched eggs. Here is the technical answer:

Palworld does not inherently assign any owner to an egg made in a Breeding Farm. To be more precise, it does not assign an owner on the server, only on your own computer. Since this mod lives entirely on the server, I had to make my own system. I decided to use the owner of the Pal assigned to the first position of the Breeding Farm. It is the leftmost position when assigned through the Monitoring Stand. The mod saves the player ID from this internally and fetches it later when the egg is ready to hatch, sending it to that player. There's some more technical details in-between, but they're not too important.

Q. What happens when my Palbox is full?

A. The mod will continue working, and the Pals will get dropped on the ground. This is not ideal, but I have not been able to find a way to detect when the Palbox is full. For now you are responsible for your Pals, sorry!

Q. What happens when my inventory is full?

A. Any eggs produced will remain at the Breeding Farm until there is room in your inventory. When you have space and an egg is produced, ALL eggs (including the ones previously sitting at the Breeding Farm) will get collected and auto hatched.

Q. Why are my eggs not being picked up?

A. The logic that picks up the eggs is the first line of defense. That is to say, if that is not working it can be assumed the mod did not load correctly or was not installed correctly. Please make sure to follow the installation instructions below.
