Skill Sorting

Update May 2026:

I'm officially retarded. I was playing the Three Brothers version all along and didn't realize I wasn't playing the Definitive Edition. I updated all of my mods for the Definitive Edition and have play-tested them. About half of my mods definitedly needed updating, but I updated and uploaded all of them again to be safe. If you were having an issue with my mods, please try again with the updated version.

Please note: all of my mods only require the standard BepInEx to run. BepInEx Configuration Manager is recommended for configuration of my mods. A few of my mods also require Sideloader, if denoted. I haven't tested my mods with other Mod Managers, such as r2modman. I'm running Outward solely with BepInEx with all of my mods and a couple of mods from other Mod Creators as well. I recommend using the latest version of BepInEx (5. 4. 23. 5 at the moment), but older version should work perfectly fine as well. Happy gaming y'all and enjoy Outward while we wait for the second game to release =)

Skill Sorting

Let's you define a custom order of your Skills through a Configuration Text File.

Two Presets are included: the order of Skills as described in the Outward Wiki, and my personal Preset that I use for my playthrough.

Customize the order of Skills as it suits you best.

The Sort Order as defined in the file BepInEx \ plugins \ SkillSorting \ SkillSorting.txt is the one that is loaded by the mod.

Overwrite this file with the SkillSorting.txt file from the "Preset Mod" or "Preset Outward Wiki" folder to apply the corresponding Sort Order.

Please note:

The mod loads the sort order from the Skill ID (orange) in the first column of the configuration file.

The other columns are for information only. The second column is the name of the GameObject in the game, the third column is the Class Name of the Skill and the last Column is the in-game Skill Name.
