Runic Memory

Update May 2026:

I'm officially retarded. I was playing the Three Brothers version all along and didn't realize I wasn't playing the Definitive Edition. I updated all of my mods for the Definitive Edition and have play-tested them. About half of my mods definitedly needed updating, but I updated and uploaded all of them again to be safe. If you were having an issue with my mods, please try again with the updated version.

Please note: all of my mods only require the standard BepInEx to run. BepInEx Configuration Manager is recommended for configuration of my mods. A few of my mods also require Sideloader, if denoted. I haven't tested my mods with other Mod Managers, such as r2modman. I'm running Outward solely with BepInEx with all of my mods and a couple of mods from other Mod Creators as well. I recommend using the latest version of BepInEx (5. 4. 23. 5 at the moment), but older version should work perfectly fine as well. Happy gaming y'all and enjoy Outward while we wait for the second game to release =)

Lets you learn discovered Runic Combinations as Skills.

If you're lazy like me and don't want to memorize the Rune Combinations or don't have the quickslots to spare, this mod will add the Runic Spells of basic and advanced Runic Combinations once you discover them.

The Spells "Runic Blade" and "Great Runic Blade" have been separated into two single Skills, so that you can always choose between the one-handed or two-handed Runic Blade.

The Perks "Arcane Syntax" (Gain access to more advanced runic combos) and "Runic Prefix" (All runic spells are more powerful or have added effects.) are taken into account.

Installation:

Requires BepInEx and Sideloader. Extract to Outward game directory.
