📋 About This Mod
When you die, game quits instead of the Revival Mechanic - DO NOT USE!
Attention: this mod, including version 2. 1, has a severe bug that might cause your inventory items to disappear (see Bugs tab). Do not use this mod.
If you're like me and don't like the random encounters when you die, this mod is for you.
When the Player character dies, the game goes back to the Main Menu instead of the Revival Mechanic (i.e. reviving you in a random spot with a small sub-story). Note that the player's death animation will not be shown much, but the screen will quickly fade to black when you die.
Note that the game will not be saved when you die, instead it will be reversed to the point where the game was last saved.
- This mod is intended and only tested for the single player experience and will most likely not work in Multiplayer or Split Screen mode
- I have tested and played with this mod for quite some time now, so I would consider it safe to use. Nevertheless, it is advised to always back up your save files in case something goes wrong.
