Mod Features List and Overview

Welkynd Stones. Not particularly useful. This mod changes that. It adds a spell called "Welkynd Magicraft" that enables the player to open either the Enchanting or Spellcrafting menus anywhere in the world, at the cost of one Welkynd Stone per use. It is intended to be something that adds a bit of fun and convenience without being too immersion-breaking.

Spell allows Transmutation between Welkynd Stones and Common Soul Gems, and vice versa. Can now Meld Soul Gems and Welkynd Stones.

You can now sacrifice a Welkynd or Varla stone to roll random items in 1. 0. 6 and Emancipate Souls from Soul Gems to receive an empty soul gem and a gold payout in 1. 0. 7.

Can do Welkynd Casting as an unlock from having the Magic from the Skies book in your inventory in 1. 0. 8

In 1. 0. 9 you can unlock Soul Magic by acquiring the Tome of Unlife. This allows for "Soul Extraction" which is a forbidden alternative to emancipating souls. Be forewarned, tampering with the power of souls can lead to some unintended consequences...

NEW IN 1. 1. 6:

"Channel Rage" added to the Staff of Aetherius, "Hunger of the Void" added to the Astral Traveler's spells list and two custom enchantment books: Soul Extraction and Astral Power. Hunger of the Void transfers the contents of unlocked containers to whatever Astral Void container is active (depends on day cycle). Makes it easy to loot dungeons if you can just transfer the containers straight to portable storage. I will let you figure out what the two enchantments do ;)

SPELL UNLOCK

===========

First, head over to The First Edition in the Imperial City and purchase a Dusty Grimoire. It will be required for unlocking the spell.

Collect a minimum of 10 Welkynd Stones with the book in your inventory to unlock the spell. Make sure you have 10 at once in your inventory, then you're golden.

There may be some secrets involving the book "Magic From the Skies" that will be revealed to you if you have it in your inventory after the 10-stone unlock.

MANUAL INSTALLATION

Step 1: Extract the contents of the archive to "Steam\steamapps\common\Oblivion Remastered\OblivionRemastered\Content\Dev\ObvData", the Data folder should merge with the already existing one in that path!

Step 2: Add "Welkynd Magicraft.esp" to the Plugins.txt file in the Data fold
