Iron Palm - Hand to Hand Rebalanced

Hand to Hand in Oblivion: Remastered is great, yet with skills and attributes capping out at 100 for damage calc in the base game, and the maximum damage for hand to hand severely limited by the values for the H2H damage formula, many enemies can be either damage sponges or completely unbeatable at certain difficulties just with hand to hand. Take for instance, regenerating enemies. They may be trivial at lower difficulties but the higher the difficulty gets, their regeneration can make them almost impossible to kill with hand to hand, so in my view it meant it needed a bit of a buff.

By my calculations, with this mod the new maximum basic attack damage for fists should be 24. 75 rather than 11. 5. These values are based on the following vanilla H2H damage formula:

Damage = 1 + (15 - 1) (StrengthAttribute / 100 0. 75 + 0) (HandToHandSkill / 100 1. 0 + 0)

That I found looking at a similar mod.

This is the formula in Iron Palm:

Damage = 1 + (20- 1) (StrengthAttribute / 100 1. 0 + 0) (HandToHandSkill / 100 1. 25 + 0)

These values make combat at Master difficulty still hard against many enemies as a Hand to Hand build, but not impossible to the degree that it is in vanilla, and not overpowered in the early game based on my testing.

Extract the .esp file to the same Data folder your Oblivion Remastered .esm and .esp files are located. Then add "Iron Palm.esp" to your Plugins.txt file in the same folder.
