Velothi Vanity (NPC Overhaul for the Dunmer - Dark Elves)

This mod alters the appearance of 216 Dunmer NPCs in an attempt to make them more in line with their lore. No more balloon-headed Velothi descendants!!

All Dunmer NPCs have had the following changed:

• []Width of their faces

  []Brow Ridge

  []Jawline angle

  []Chin length

  []Skin tone

  []Unfitting hairstyles (e.g. the Adoring Fan-style hairs and the overly bright orange hair colors)

  []Further miscellaneous edits depending on the NPC

  Every Dunmer NPC is affected but one. Valen Dreth (the Dunmer who trash talks you at the start of the game) has a custom head mesh that cannot be changed by normal means, and so I left him untouched just in case that was for a valid reason. Aside from that, every last Dunmer has been altered all the way from nobles to bandits.

  COMPATIBILITY

  This mod works with any other NPC overhaul mod, as long as you overwrite their Dunmer NPC files with mine or vice versa

  Firstly, you will need to install the required mods -

  • []UE4SS for Oblivion Remastered

    []rmuUtilies (only the miscellaneous file, the main file is not needed)

    []NPC Appearance Manager

    Then simply place all the .json files from my mod into OblivionRemastered\Binaries\Win64\ue4ss\Mods\NPCAppearanceManager\NPC

    Note that the 'Win64' may be called 'WinGDK' instead if you are not using Steam.

    To remove this mod, you will have to remove all the Dunmer-related .json files from OblivionRemastered\Binaries\Win64\ue4ss\Mods\NPCAppearanceManager\NPC

    This can be a pain to do individually if you have multiple NPC overhauls that affect different races, so in that case, I suggest doing the following instead:

    • []Manually download this mod again

      []Manually drag and drop the .json files into the designated install folder and select "Replace the files in the destination" but don't click anything afterwards

      []Every one of my files should now be selected/highlighted

      []Press Delete on your keyboard, and it will delete the Dunmer files exclusively
