Sapiarch's Splendor (NPC Overhaul for the Altmer - High Elves)

All 182 Altmer NPCs have been altered to have a less derpy appearance, and a more refined bone structure that suits the elegance of the high and mighty Altmer. (Even nameless enemies and helmeted NPCs have been edited for consistency across the board!)

FEATURES

All Altmer NPCs have had the following changed:

• []Width of their faces

  []Brow Ridge

  []Jawline angle

  []Chin length

  []Silly hairstyles that don't suit them (i.e. Adoring Fan style hairs not fitting their typical elegance)

  []Further miscellaneous edits depending on the NPC and their respective lore

  The only Altmer NPCs who are not edited are the ones you will literally never see by normal means. For example, I did not waste time editing the Test or Template NPCs, nor did I edit the Voice NPCs that exist solely as off-screen voice boxes for characters like Mephala or Umaril. Every Altmer that you can encounter by normal means, all the way from nobility to banditry, should be covered though!

  COMPATIBILITY

  This mod works with any other NPC overhaul mod, as long as you overwrite their Altmer NPC files with mine or vice versa

  INSTALL

  Firstly, you will need to install the required mods -

  • []UE4SS for Oblivion Remastered

  • []rmuUtilies (only the miscellaneous file, the main file is not needed)

  • []NPC Appearance Manager

    Then simply place all the .json files from my mod into OblivionRemastered\Binaries\Win64\ue4ss\Mods\NPCAppearanceManager\NPC

    Note that the 'Win64' may be called 'WinGDK' instead if you are not using Steam.

    UNINSTALL

    To remove this mod, you will have to remove all the Altmer-related .json files from OblivionRemastered\Binaries\Win64\ue4ss\Mods\NPCAppearanceManager\NPC

    This can be a pain to do individually if you have multiple NPC overhauls that affect different races, so in that case, I suggest doing the following instead:

    • []Manually download this mod again

      []Manually drag and drop the .json files into the designated install folder and select "Replace the files in the destination" but don't click anything afterwards

      []Every one of my files should now be selected/highlighted

    • Press Delete on your keyboard, and it will delete the Altmer files exclusively
