What does this mod do?

This mod restores ALL skills in the game to their vanilla values. That's it. If you want a truly vanilla OG Oblivion experience with nothing else changed... this is your mod.

How's it work?

This overrides the 'remastered' skill rates with the vanilla ones using an ESP file. So every time your game loads, it will read this ESP, and think: how much xp do we give the player? Then it bases it off this. This means that this file can be added or removed at any time. You won't lose 50 levels later from removing it, and you can add it at any time.

FAQs

Q) How is this different than the other experience rate mods out there?

A) I didn't find a single mod that restores the vanilla experience rate, and I checked most of them using xEdit. They all either reduce XP arbitrarily (i.e. 25% less), or they offer a dozen varieties of XP. This simply restores Vanilla rates, NO exceptions

Q) IT'S SO SLOW! Are you sure it's right?

A) Welcome to Oblivion. Yes, this is an adventure RPG, not a Skyrim minmax speedrun. YES man, it's correct. What are you in a hurry for?!!?!?!

Q) Can I use your mod in my other mod / collection I'm making?

A) Sure! Go ahead. Be my guest

Q) Can you make a variant of this mod to do x, y, and z?

A) No, unfortunately due to other priorities, I cannot. But there are plenty of other mods!

Q) What mods does this conflict with?

A) Literally anything that changes skill XP or experience rates will conflict. Place it last in your load order if in doubt

Q) Can I install this on a current playthrough, or remove it later?

A) Yes! You can install/remove at ANY time. When you gain experience, it uses the values loaded in to calculate that. So if you remove this later, you won't suddenly lose 50 levels of a skill!
