This mod puts a tag/affix either in front of or behind skill books titles so you can identify them more easily, both in inventories and in the world. Multiple variants available:

  [] Prefix: Shows the name of the skill affected by a skill book.

  [] Suffix: Shows the name of the skill affected by a skill book.

A preview of the options can be seen above, in the image section or within the FOMOD installer the mod comes in, when installing it with your mod manager.

As a neat side effect, the prefix variants also make the skill books show up at the top of your inventory, if you have it sorted alphabetically.

The mod relies on MagicLoader which enables these kind of modifications, without the need for an engine plugin that has the potential to conflict and override a bunch of other mods that aim to modify the books in the game. Weightless item mods, lore mods, and the like come to mind.

There are alternatives to this mod, which somewhat inspired the creation of this one. Their difference to this mod is that they both use an engine plugin to change the book names. If you for some reason don't want to use MagicLoader and rather resolve conflicts between your mods yourself, you can use them instead.
