Sheogorath's Cane

This mod makes Sheogorath’s Cane a playable, wearable item perfect for those looking to embody the Madgod himself. By default, the cane exists in-game but isn't usable by the player. This mod fixes that, turning it into an equippable accessory. Best used unarmed or with magic for visual consistency.

To make it more meaningful, the cane is enchanted with the effects of the Ring of Perfection, fitting for a Daedric Prince of madness.

Usage

To obtain Sheogorath's Cane, open the console by pressing the ~ (tilde) key and enter the following command:

player.additem 00094C2F 1

Installation Instructions

1. Download the .zip file containing the mod.

2. Navigate to Data folder. By default, it can be found at the following paths:

Steam Users

4. Extract SheogorathCane.esp from the .zip file into the Data folder.

5. Open Plugins.txt and add SheogorathCane.esp to the bottom of the file. For example:

In rare cases, the game may crash when unequipping the cane. It’s unclear whether this is caused by the mod itself or simply due to the fact that the item wasn’t originally meant to be worn by the player. As a precaution, it’s recommended to save before unequipping the cane—or just save often, as good practice.
