Note: Due to the original Oblivion engine limitations, some blood decals might still disappear after a while. This is a technical limit, not a mod issue.-
1. Download the file Oblivion_Bloodbath_Ultra.ini. 2. Rename the file to Oblivion.ini (capital "O" is important).
3. Where to put the file?You have two possible locations, depending on how your Remastered version is set up:
✅ First option (most common):C:\Users\YourUsername\Documents\My Games\Oblivion Remastered\Config\Windows
or sometimes:
C:\Users\YourUsername\Documents\My Games\Oblivion Remastered\Saved\Config\Windows
If you see files like Engine.ini or DefaultEngine.ini in this folder, you are in the right place.
✅ Second option (if Documents is empty):C:\Users\YourUsername\AppData\Local\Oblivion\Saved\Config\Windows
(Remember: the AppData folder is usually hidden — you may need to enable "Show hidden files" in Windows.)
4. Important notes:[]Do not replace Engine.ini or other system files.
[]Just place your Oblivion.ini alongside the existing .ini files.
[]If the mod doesn't seem to apply, open DefaultEngine.ini or Engine.ini manually and copy/paste the following lines under :
