No Overworld Fog

Description

A basic mod that disables fog while in the overworld. Inverse effect of No Interior Fog

Please be aware this is a very heavy-handed approach at removing the outdoor fog effect for those who find it undesirable. The outdoor fog seems to intentionally hide distant landscapes where it would otherwise look odd such as at night, from high locations like Cloud Ruler Temple, or when Oblivion Gates have spawned. There may be better mods out there or reshade presets that seek to minimize the fog effects rather than remove it entirely, which may be more to your liking.

Installation instructions

Download the mod through your preferred mod manager, or drop the folder into Steam/steamapps/common/Oblivion Remastered as with other ue4ss mods.

Compatibility

Compatible with most mods, but anything that tweaks the fog settings rather than removing it entirely will no longer take effect while outdoors.

Uninstallation instructions

Delete the mod folder at: "OblivionRemastered\Binaries\Win64\ue4ss\Mods\NoOverworldFog"

Vortex seems to be cleaning up the folder contents when deleting through the

UI but is leaving the folder itself intact. You can delete the empty

folder if you'd like manually.
