No Chameleon Visual Effect

No Chameleon Visual Effect removes the semi-transparent shader that covers the player character when the Chameleon effect is active through spells, enchantments, or potions. This lets you enjoy the stealth benefits of Chameleon without turning invisible or visually glitchy, so you can still see your character clearly while sneaking. It also helps eliminate several annoying visual bugs commonly associated with the Chameleon effect in the vanilla game.

★ Installation Instructions

1. Download the corresponding .zip file of the mod.

2. Navigate to the Oblivion Remastered root folder. By default, it can be found at the following paths:

Steam Users

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Oblivion Remastered\Game Pass Users

C:\XboxGames\The Elder Scrolls IV- Oblivion Remastered\

3. Extract the OblivionRemastered folder and its contents from the downloaded .zip file into the root folder.

4. Confirm that the NoChameleonVFX_P.pak, NoChameleonVFX_P.ucas, and NoChameleonVFX_P.utoc files have been correctly installed in the following paths:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Oblivion Remastered\OblivionRemastered\Content\Paks\~Mods\NoChameleonVFX\Game Pass Users

C:\XboxGames\The Elder Scrolls IV- Oblivion Remastered\Content\OblivionRemastered\Content\Paks\~Mods\NoChameleonVFX\

6. Launch the game. The effect will apply automatically.
