MOTIVATION to level your character

PLAYERS INTENTIONALLY AVOID LEVELING UP TO AVOID ENEMY SCALING

MAKE IT HARDER TO FIGHT ENEMIES AT LOWER LEVELS IN A WAY THAT DOESNT AFFECT LATER LEVELS GAMEPLAY

OPTION 1: INCREASE NPC HEALTH BY A FLAT VALUE

NPC health increases as player levels up. But adding a flat HP value means that at lower levels when NPC's dont have much health it's more significant than at later levels.

(SIMPLIFIED EXAMPLE: If at level 10 NPC has 100 health while at level 30 - 300. Flat +100hp at players level 10 means that bosses have 100% more health while at players level 30 just 30% more. Fighting bosses below level 10 would mean that they will have more than twice health compared to vanilla)

OPTION 2: SET MINIMUM NPC LEVEL (stop scaling completely)

I used Balanced NPC level cap mod values for max level to set the minimum NPC level values.

So boss level allways stays the same no matter the player level.

NPC's AFFECTED: almost 100 "Boss" type enemies that are often main antagonists in various quest lines. The ones that are supposed to be stronger than usual enemies. The idea of what to consider a "boss" enemy taken from "Stronger Bosses 2" mod.

REQUIRES NEW GAME!

In most cases NPC's stats will be set depending on what mods you had installed on character creation and will not be recalculated if mod is installed mid playthrough.

INSTALLATION:

1) Put your chosen main file into Data folder.

2) In plugin.txt file (in the same Data folder) type name of that esp file. Put it below "Balanced NPC level cap" mod.

COMPATIBILITY:

Compatible with pretty much anything that doesnt change those NPC's. Otherwise will overwrite their data with with either +100hp or minimum level increase depending on what file you chose. Both Main files have "Balanced NPC level cap" mods values for those NPC's level cap.
