Motion Blur Fix and Intensity Selection

Description

A simple mod that fixes inconsistent motion blur by allowing it to scale with framerate, and allows choosing a custom intensity between 100%, 75%, 50%, and 25%.

In the vanilla game, motion blur does not adjust correctly with framerate because the renderer is expecting a fixed framerate to produce a fixed look for the blur, which causes three issues that this fix addresses:

• []Motion blur will constantly change appearance during gameplay with unlocked framerates. This is most noticeable during wild fluctuations in performance, such as hectic combat or when looking to and away from the sky, and may even produce motion sickness (like with yours truly).

  []Even if you do cap performance with tools like v-sync, RTSS, or Special K, different framerate caps will result in different looks for motion blur.

• The motion blur's intensity can't be adjusted.

  These three issues are resolved by this mod.

  There are several other mods that include the fix, the custom intensity, or both, as part of a larger suite of changes. This mod only fixes and customises motion blur, for maximum flexibility.

  Installation instructions

  Download the mod through your preferred mod manager, or drop the folder into Steam/steamapps/common/Oblivion Remastered, which itself contains a OblivionRemastered folder and executable. There are four variants - only install one of them.

  Requirements

  Requires UE4SS.

  Compatibility

  Compatible with everything, but will be overwritten/overwrite the same settings in other Unreal CVAR mods depending on load order.

  Uninstallation instructions

  Simply remove the mod folder. Save files are not affected.
