Male Argonian Voices Restored (batch file)

The new voice acting in Oblivion Remastered has generally provided some welcome variety and consistency to the way each race sounds, though the actual quality of the line delivery is a bit hit-or-miss, in my opinion. I think most of the new versions are fine enough generally, but the one I just overall don't like compared to the original is the male argonian voice-acting. The old version was scratchy and would throw some drawn-out ssssss's in there to sound like hissing, and just generally sounded more "reptilian" to me, and I liked that. The new voicework just isn't as fun. So this mod reverts all the named, male argonians to their original voice-acting. I didn't bother with unnamed, always-hostile NPCs, like bandits/marauders or the Veyond Cave tribesmen, because that would have involved tracking down a lot more records for very little benefit. But every named male argonian should now have their original voice back.

There are a number of other mods that revert NPCs to the old voice-acting, but as far as I can tell they've all done it through editing the records of those NPCs directly, which means those mods will be incompatible with any other mod that edits those same NPCs in any way, at least without a patch being made. I wanted this to be compatible with everything and I'm not really looking to make a bunch of individual patches, so I've made this mod work its magic through console commands, executed through a batch file. Here's what you need to do to make it work:

Installation: The downloadable file contains 2 .txt files - AOV.txt and AOVRestore.txt. They both need to go in your \OblivionRemastered\Binaries folder. Once you have them there, load your game, open the console, and type exec AOV.txt into the console, then press enter. The game will launch the commands contained in the file and boom, all the affected NPCs will have their old voices restored. Note that you'll need to do this on a save for each character you want this mod to be active on. If you ever want to undo these changes and restore their Remastered voices, do the same thing but type exec AOVRestore.txt instead. That's it, easy, and fully compatible with any changes that were already made to those NPCs. Do be aware that, since this is being done via console commands, it will disable achievements for you, if you're somehow not already playing with a mod that stops that from happening.

I will probably not be adding individual requests for other NPC's voices to this mod, but I can tell you how to do it yourself easily using the console: If you'd like to revert the voice-acting for any NPC in the game, just type "RefID". SetFactionRank B000802, -1 into the console, where Re
