Illusory Armory - Armor Pieces as Clothing

Calindil, realizing that most of his customers seem to wear the same blue robes, decided to invest in the fashion industry for mages and started offering magical gear which mimic the appearance of rare and high-grade armors to the spellcasters of Cyrodill.

What does this mod do?

• []Adds new clothing pieces corresponding to various armor sets which I think look fitting on a magic-inclined character, such as Mithril, Elven, etc.[/]

  []Dwarven, Mithril, Elven, Glass, Elven, Ebony, Daedric, Dark Seducer, Golden Saint and an "Invisible" set are currently included.[/]

  []The new clothing sets are weightless and offer no protection.[/]

  []They can be enchanted.[/]

  Why don't you just use regular armor?

  • []Because in Oblivion all Light and Heavy armors reduce spell effectiveness, and there aren't many clothing options for some of the equipment slots.[/]
