Faithful Reshade

The goal here was to create a reshade to:

1. remove bethesda's infamous fog filter

2. add depth and clarity to the visuals

3. make nights a interiors a bit darker

4. add some more life and color to the game without being oversaturated; so many reshades add more color and vibrance but it ends up giving everything a very red hue

5. be realistic without being boring

monitor setups and windows color settings may differ. Feel free to tweak in game brightness to suit your needs. I also have my vibrance slider in nvidia control panel increased a bit. All of this is very dependent on your taste and the monitor you use.

open to user feedback. I have a fair amount of time playing with reshades and ENBs for personal use, but this is my first a time posting one of my presets.

------INSTALLATION--------------------------------------------------

you need to download the latest version of https://reshade.me/

when selecting the program to install to you want to pick either the oblivion executable in steamapps\common\Oblivion Remastered or steamapps\common\Oblivion Remastered\OblivionRemastered\Binaries\Win64 for the steam version

for the game pass version you will select gamelaunchhelper.exe in the game folder that you can find by getting to the games folder through the xbox launcher

*extract the ini file from the zip you downloaded and use the ini file in the reshade installer when it asks. It will auto install everything it needs for my preset..

 EDIT IMPORTANT

.... For some reason, when you select the ini while installing it doesnt download all effects in the preset. The most simple way to combat this is to select the preset THEN use the box at the top to uncheck all and then RESELECT the same box to install all of the effects. Takes a few seconds longer to install, but otherwise has no drawbacks.

If you miss this step its not the end of the world. The installer misses a fakehdr effect that just adds a bit more clarity and crispness. But its a fairly minor difference
