BLACK EYES VERSION

For use with Black Eyes. Applies to Arrowroot, Ayo, Baishan, Chizuru, Durga, Eiji, Fen, Jae, Kapua, Kwesi, Manuka, Valeria & Yazhu.

Why are some ingame races like the beast races or Altmer/Dunmer/Orcs missing?

This mod aims to cover real-life ethnicities with its faces - real human faces are, for the moment, not known to be furry or scaley. Aiming for

some Altmer/Dunmer faces in the future but their slider ranges default towards pointy elf faces than the Bosmer and are a bit more difficult to

wrangle into a particular human ethnicity. (It might just be a skill issue tbh ^^;). Orcs might be covered in a separate set of presets.

What even are those categories?

Loosely based on facial features common to their areas of the world. Some which are particularly named -- like the Maori or Italian & Greek faces--  are explicitly based off of 'average' ethnic features associated with that place using picture references of typical people from the area or familiarity with their features. Others that are more vague like Celtic or African/black or Arab might not have been designed with any 'goal' in mind other than a vague region or inspired by a particular person whose detailed ethnic background is not known. Real life is more complicated and mixed than any simple category can sum up!

INSTALL

1. Install RaceMenu Utilities

2. Install face (optionally body textures). Recommended: Young Textures Revamped and Realistic High Quality Skin. NOTE: Presets may not look like the screenshots if you use the base game textures or different facial/body textures.

3. Download Diverse Faces, unzip and place in your oblivion directory that contains ue4ss (Will look something like .../Oblivion Remastered/Oblivion Remastered/Binaries/Win64)

USING A PRESET

1. Start up Oblivion Remastered. Load up/start a new game with the character you want to use the preset with.

2. Check with diverseFacesAllPresets.png or the mod images above that your character is the correct race & body type combo for the preset you want to use on the character. If not you will have to change your race and/or body type manually. On an existing save you'll need to use one of the safe showracemenu mods (like Keep Your Stats After RaceMenu) and do this first.

3. Open up the ingame console (generally with the tilde ~ key).
