Classic Sounds Remastered - Weapons

The remastered sounds are nice, but I found myself missing the clunky old ones from the original.

(For the express purpose of nostalgia, of course)

Currently replaces the equip, unequip and blocking sounds for all weapons, with a few exceptions (see below)

Bonus: Also adds the original bow draw and fire sounds, music to my ears.

Fun fact: UE5 uses a different file format for audio, but also splits many of the sounds into multiple different files for layering, the original game did not.

So, I had to manually edit the mixing and timing for most of the original audio. (It isn't perfect but its close)

Was it a pain in the ass? Yes.

Was it worth it for the nostalgia? Yes.

• []Staves (Apparently they didn't use any equip sounds in the original, and the blocking sounds are god awful)

  Installation:

  Download the mod and extract the .pak file to the ~mods folder in your game directory. ("Oblivion Remastered\OblivionRemastered\Content\Paks\~mods")

  Note: If the ~mods folder doesn't exist, just create it.

  Can also be installed using latest dev version of MO2 (Vortex not tested)
