Casterial's Overhauled Bruma Home

Hey there! Casterial here. The last mod I created was for Fallout: New Vegas—the Courier’s Mansion. I made it because I wasn’t a fan of the in-game homes, and I find myself feeling the same way about Oblivion. Essential amenities are scattered across multiple houses, which can be inconvenient. So, I decided to consolidate everything into my favorite residence Bruma’s Home and turn it into the perfect all-in-one living space.

The interior is the same model, but all objects were stripped out and replaced with my own custom interior clutter, layout, lighting and containers.

• []Main - House is purchased for 10,000 gold - no furniture is buyable, quest completes early. Comes fully furnished with altars of spellcrafting and enchanting and a basement.

  []Alchemy Chest Compatibility- This adds in a patch that supports the Alchemy Chest, it is a requirement. Features everything the main has.

  []Realism  - This is for those who want to earn it. It cost 30,000 gold instead of 10,000 gold. Changes the quest dialogue and journal a bit for the Bruma House quest. Requires Magic Loader. Note: The house fully furnished in vanilla is 20,000. For the basement + Altars I added 10,000.

  Install Instructions

  • []Download and extract the file to OblivionRemastered\Content\Dev\ObvData\Data

    []Open Plugins.txt and add "CastBrumaHome.esp" to the bottom of the list

    Optional File(s):

    You may only have one file installed, either the Main, Alchemy Chest, or Realism version of this mod.

    ➢ Compatible patch for Player House Alchemy Chest

    • []You must have AlchemyChest.esp loaded first!

      []Note: You do NOT need to remove your items from the house when you switch to the optional file. This just adds a new chest below the stairs.

    ➢ Casterial's Bruma House - Realism

    This is for those who love to play with the economy in mind, and work toward what their homes. This raises the base price from $10,000 gold to $30,000 gold.

    Keep in mind - this comes fully furnished, with Altar of Enchanting and Spellmaking. It also has a basement. The original home with furnishing is $20,000 total.
