Atronach Unbound – A Lore-Friendly Magicka Restoration Mod

A small, immersive tweak for players who want to move beyond the limitations of the Atronach birthsign - without breaking lore.

Your Magicka does not regenerate naturally with the Atronach birthsign, reflecting a block within yourself… a part of you that remains bound. This mod changes that.

Once you complete the quest "Through a Nightmare, Darkly," your character has faced their deepest fears and emerged transformed. As a symbolic and magical breakthrough, the Magicka stunting effect is removed - your natural Magicka regeneration is restored.

You've overcome your inner barriers. You've reclaimed your magic.

  Installation:

  • []Drop the file into: Oblivion Remastered\OblivionRemastered\Content\Dev\ObvData\Data Folder

    []add "AtronachUnboundQuest.esp" into the "plugins.txt" file and save.

  • Done

    If you already finished the quest you can also just type in the following to remove Magicka stunting effect: player.setav stuntedmagicka 0

    It seems that the mod is not working properly for everyone - When I have time I will look further into it. I simply added a script at the end to the Quest "MS05". When I tested it, it worked for me. You should receive a text message once the quest is finished. If it doesnt work for you, simply type in "player.setav stuntedmagicka 0" into the console to remove magicka stunting.
