📋 About This Mod
Description
===========
This is a merge of the following mods, use only either this merged version or the individual plugins, not both:
Wayshrine Map Markers - Version 1. 3
Doomstone and Runestone Map Markers - Version 1. 3
Ayleid Well Map Markers - Version 1. 2
Shrine of Kynareth Map Marker - Version 1. 1
Player House and Home Map Markers - Version 1. 2
Obelisks of Order Map Markers for Shivering Isles SE - Version 1. 0
More map markers! Places map markers at all Player Homes, Divine Pilgrimage Wayshrines, Doomstones, Runestones, Ayleid Wells and the Shrine of Kynareth. They are not marked on your map by default, you will have to find them on your own, but after discovering one, you can now Fast-Travel there.
Requirements
============
MagicLoader - https://www.nexusmods.com/oblivionremastered/mods/1966
Make sure to read and follow the instructions of MagicLoader, else some markers will appear as <MISSING STRING TABLE ENTRY> without it.
Installation
============
Use a mod manager of your choice
Extract the downloaded files (both the esp file and the MagicLoader folder that includes the json file inside it) to \OblivionRemastered\Content\Dev\ObvData\Data folder and add the esp's full name (= with file extension, i.e. mod.esp) to the Plugins.txt file, which is also in the \Data folder.

✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Huge community trust: 1,908 endorsements and 83,338 downloads show it's a go-to for Oblivion players.
- Solves the annoyance of forgetting where those unmarked locations are, especially for completionists.
- Lightweight and unobtrusive—just adds markers, doesn't change the game's balance or feel.
⚠️ Cons
- Markers only appear after discovery, so you still have to stumble upon them first—no early-game shortcuts.
- No mention of compatibility with other map mods or UI overhauls, so conflicts are possible.
- Last updated in July 2025, but no guarantee it works with the latest Oblivion patches or mod setups.
For Oblivion players who hate missing out on hidden locations and want a convenient way to track them after discovery. Perfect for explorers and completionists who want to keep the sense of discovery but avoid frustration. Skip if you prefer a pure vanilla experience or use heavy map overhauls that might conflict.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Since markers appear only after discovery, keep a mental note or use a wiki to find the locations initially.
- If you use a mod manager like OBMM or Wrye Bash, install this mod through it to avoid overwriting other map-related files.
- Check your load order—place this mod after any map or UI mods to ensure markers display correctly.
