📋 About This Mod
Overview
Wabbajack can now target non-essential NPCs, and you can set it to produce Sheep every time.
Potentially becomes a very powerful weapon. Use it at your own discretion or for roleplay purposes only. It is definitely a very fun weapon now!
It also resets Guard aggro, very useful for those guards that are chasing you from across the map and just won't give up. See Known Issues below though.
Sheepstick Mode
You can set Wabba to only create sheep with this console command:
set WabbaSheepOnly to 1
Reverse it back with:
set WabbaSheepOnly to 0
Is it OP?
Maybe. Maybe not. You can already abuse Wabbajack with a cheap summon spell or in a town that has critters. I've created this mostly for fun roleplay purposes. If you're concerned about balance I would say use it sparingly, maybe like once a day, like a power.
Known Issues
If you zone out before the Wabbajack effect expires, you may not be able to use Wabba again because there is a vanilla restriction that you can only Wabba one target at a time. Make sure your target has transformed back before zoning away.
Compatibility
Should be pretty robust, I was running it on top of my run order and worked fine. Any other mods that alter Wabbajack may clash with it though.
Install
Just drop the .esp file in your Data Files folder, and select it in the launcher.
The Tech stuff
Modified EnWabbajack enchantment with custom script (just commented out the no NPC part, otherwise identical to the original script).
Custom WabbajackListSHEEP creature and script amended to call this if global var WabbaSheepOnly =/= 0.
This small mod for Skyrim makes the Wabbajack staff able to target non-essential NPCs, and adds a 'Sheepstick' mode that turns targets into sheep every time. With 16 endorsements and over 10,000 downloads, it's a niche tweak for players who want more chaotic fun with the Daedric artifact.
✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Over 10,000 downloads show it's got a following despite low endorsements
- Adds a fun, chaotic twist to a classic weapon
- Simple concept that does exactly what it says
⚠️ Cons
- Only 16 endorsements—might be a niche mod with limited community feedback
- Last updated in September 2024—may not be compatible with the latest Skyrim version
For Skyrim players who love messing with NPCs and want the Wabbajack to be even more unpredictable. If you're a completionist or just enjoy causing chaos, this is a fun little addition. Skip if you want serious gameplay overhauls—this is purely a silly tweak.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Make sure to place the mod file in your Data folder or use a mod manager like Vortex to install it.
- If you're using a mod manager, enable the mod and check that it loads after the official Skyrim patches.
- Test the Wabbajack on a non-essential NPC first to see the effect before using it on important characters.
