Shockwolfs Real Skin Texture - Orc HGEC High Def

This mod is a re-render of a texture replacer by ShockWolF. In his mod, only races using the Imperial texture and the Dark Elf texture are covered, which of course leaves the Orcs out! I have never been able to find a good quality texture replacer for Orc females, so I finally got around to making my own version, using ShockWolF's textures as a base. As a friendly reminder, these textures are for HGEC.

Like the original Real Skin mod, this texture is also true High Definition and Hi Rez. Of course, this means that the texture has more detail and less 'flatness'. This is due in part to high definition of the normal mapping as well for each texture.  While there is certainly nothing special to the screenshots I posted for this mod, you get a very good idea of the amount of detail this texture provides. I also tried to tweak the textures to minimize the seams, however, you still may have to play around with the character sliders to get the result you want.

As it is currently organized, the mod functions as a replacer for the vanilla Orc race. However, if you are like me, you can also use it as a resource (I use 'custom races' to create the illusion of character variation in some cases).

NSTALLATION 1) Download and extract the archive to a temporary location. 2) Drag/Drop or Copy/Paste the 'texture' folder into your Oblivion data folder. 3) It's just that simple!

This mod may get tweaked more in the future if I deem it necessary or notice something about the textures I would like to fix. I may eventually upload a custom tattooed texture as well, just to add an extra option. If you would be interested in that, please leave a comment about it.  Tattoos just seem appropriate for Orcs (to me, at least).

Always remember to make a backup of files before replacing them, just in case you aren't satisfied (for what ever strange reason :) )!

Finally, a big special thanks to ShockWolF for creating the base texture that I was able to use to create this. I wouldn't have made this texture without such a fine work!
