- PREFACE
- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- This is currently compatible with both vanilla Oblivion and the Mighty Magic
- Reborn Mod.
- This is not to say you can\'t use it with other Spell System Mods, because
- you can, but the spells will likely be blatently unbalanced.

- DESCRIPTION
- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- This Mod adds a variety of scripted spells to various Spell vendors across
- Tamriel. The overarching themes between all the Chaos Spells are:
- One out of multiple possible effects
- Unable to be Absorbed or Reflected
- Spells generally come in sets of four; Apprentice through Master Level.
- Each Spell (with two exceptions) will produce only one effect, but that effect
- will be chosen randomly from a group of 3-4 options. The Spell Effect Magnitudes
- and Costs are quite similar to the default spells that produce the same effect,
- so they should not be too unbalancing.
- Complete Spell descriptions are located in the \"Spell Descriptions\" files. They
- can also be viewed in the comments thread.
- Spells are located on several different vendors. Each Mage Guild has the Chaos
- Spells ranging from Apprentice-Expert that belong to their specilization school
- (Restoration in Anvil, Destruction in Skindred, etc.) spread out among it\'s
- Spell vendors.
- The \'Merge with Chaos\' spell is located on Borissean, who is located in the
- Spellmaking Hall of the Arcane University. Borissean also has the Master
- levels of each Chaos Spell (with the exception of the Destruction Masters,
- Adrienne has those). Gasper, also in the AU SpellHall, carries all the Expert
- levels. Finally, the Muddle Fate set is located in the DB Sanctuary.
- The spells are added via an Activator, so will only be added to the vendors when
- you enter the area in question. This is only an issue if you load a saved game from
- already within one of the Activator locations. To get the spells added; leave the
- area, save, then reload and re-enter. Leaving the area, using the \'pcb\' console
- command, and then re-entering will also work.

📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Randomized effects add unpredictability to gameplay.
- Lightweight mod that doesn't overhaul the magic system.
- Simple concept for players seeking chaos.
⚠️ Cons
- Only 7 endorsements suggests limited community testing.
- Last updated in 2009, so likely incompatible with modern setups.
- Potential for game-breaking random effects without balance patches.
🎯 Is This For You?
This is for players who enjoy chaotic, unpredictable magic and don't mind a bit of jank. It's also for mod collectors who want to try obscure, old-school spells. If you prefer balanced, polished magic overhauls, this isn't for you.

💡 Beginner Tips
- Save before casting any of these spells, as random effects can be dangerous.
- Test in a safe area to see what kind of effects you might get.
- If you're on a modern version of the game, check for compatibility patches or use a mod manager to isolate it.
