📋 About This Mod
Just FYI: this is a vanilla retexture, not additional armors and weapons. Exnems & TGND compatible. So I finally took the time to pack these into an OMOD so they can be removed easily. Sorry to everyone who could have used this before; I\'m just too lazy to care most of the time. MASSIVE UPDATE: The huge file is actually the whole package, and it\'s been stripped down for COMPATIBILITY WITH \"VIBRANT GLOWING ARMOR\" (here http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=30060 and here http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=33951). Just install this AFTER the other one. The first file contains: the Shrouded armor and hood are now grayscale and darker than they originally were. The Daedric armor is now more \"rust and dried blood\" than \"fire and carbon steel\". The elven armor, in that \"lovely\" yellow? Now it looks almost like a slightly tarnished white gold. The glass armor is now black on black. The imperial watch officer armor is now black with red markings, not metal and yellow. The second file contains: The Blades Armor is now an ash-steel with red relief. The Legion armor is darker, like a rusted carbon steel. The fur armor is now black fur with brown and gray trim. The Blackwood armor is now iron with darksteel detailing. The third file contains: The iron armor is now rustier on the iron and the wood is more dry-looking. The mithril armor was changed subtly: the gold details are now midnight gray details. the weapons had no gold detail, and aren\'t included. The ebony armor\'s yellow decorative stuff is now blue decorative stuff. The dwarven armor is now at a high polish level, but not shinier. also, the red cloth has been made into purple cloth (more rare and therefore valuable in those days). The fourth file contains: The steel armor has been weathered some. The leather armor was already okay in my opinion, but I added some light/dark designing to the helmet and shield. The orcish armor has gone from a monobrown to a combination of gold, brownish silver, and gunmetal. The chainmail armor has gone from tarnished steel and rust to high polish (almost stainless) steel and dark cloth/leather. The SE file currently has these: Seducer textures have been converted to a deep blue-purple. Golden Saint textures have been brightened considerably. Knight of order textures have lost even more color, and been made more pale. Nerveshatter is now more like order armor, and the order priest robes have been made the same. The amber armor is completely different-it\'s dark with amber-colored outlines. Dawnfang is now actually like the picture. To preserve my own bandwidth, I\'ve packed the Madness armor in its own file. The eyes on the armor and weapons are now white with red irises. The KotN file currently has these: the knights\' everything had red designs before; now they are all blue. The fine steel weapons were red-handled before; same change as the armors. The horse armor package contains t

✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Pairs armor with matching weapons for a cohesive look
- Works with popular body mods Exnems and TGND
- Lightweight texture-only mod (2,260 downloads)
⚠️ Cons
- Last updated in 2011 — likely outdated for current Skyrim versions
- Low endorsement count (41) suggests limited community testing
- No screenshots or detailed previews provided
For Skyrim players who want a simple visual refresh for armor without adding new items. Best for those using Exnems or TGND body mods. Skip if you're on the latest Skyrim version or want more modern texture quality.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Since this is a texture replacer, just drop the files into your Data folder and overwrite when prompted.
- If you use a mod manager, install it as a regular mod and ensure it loads after body mods like Exnems or TGND.
- Check the mod's compatibility with your Skyrim version — it's from 2011, so it may not work with Special Edition without conversion.
