📋 About This Mod
This mod is now included in Oblivion Character Overhaul - Advanced Edition.
REQUIREMENTS:
Oblivion Character Overhaul v2
DESCRIPTION:
Oblivion Character Overhaul v2 completely revamps Elven eyes by giving Elves their own eyes, separate from the human eyes. This means that every single Elven NPC must be given the new eyes, since by default they use the human eyes. While, for the most part, pretty much all Elves use the correct eyes, there are still a few (quite a few in the DLCs) that do not use the new eyes. This gives NPCs not using the proper eyes the correct ones.
INSTALLATION:
This is a filter patch, so you'll need to install the ESP and then import it into your Bashed Patch.
This mod is a filter patch, which means that you don't need all of its masters, provided that you are using a Wrye Bash bashed patch. So, you can still use this mod without having every one of the smaller official DLCs.
COMPATIBILITY:
Should be compatible with everything. Using a Bashed Patch and Oblivion Character Overhaul - Advanced Edition should eliminate pretty much all compatibility issues.
LOAD ORDER:
Place after Oblivion Character Overhaul v2.
Thank you to Dispensation for helping me find NPCs not using the right eyes and also just being generally helpful.
Please let me know if you find any other NPCs that are not using the correct eyes.
Let me know if you have any questions or suggestions.
That's all... enjoy!

✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Community-trusted with 268 endorsements and over 8,000 downloads.
- Targeted fix for a specific visual bug—no more mismatched eyes on elves.
- Lightweight patch that doesn't overhaul anything else, so it's safe to add.
⚠️ Cons
- Requires OCOv2 to be installed first—this is a patch, not a standalone mod.
- Only affects elves; if you don't play elves or use OCOv2, this is useless.
- Last updated in 2023—might not be compatible with newer mod setups or game patches.
For Oblivion players who use OCOv2 and are bothered by elves having wrong eye textures. If you're a modder building a comprehensive visual overhaul, this patch is a must-have. Skip if you don't use OCOv2 or don't care about eye details.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Make sure OCOv2 is installed and activated before adding this patch to avoid conflicts.
- Load this patch after OCOv2 in your mod manager to ensure the eye fixes apply correctly.
- If you use other eye mods, test in-game to see if this patch overrides them as intended.
