===============Description==================== This is a texture replacement pack for the elder scrolls 4, oblvion it re textures things like architecture and landscape. not clothes and weapons. Unlike most other texture replacers out there, you dont need a super computer to use this one, this pack is aimed at people who have a decent compuetr that can run oblivion well, but not well enough for qtp3 this pack is taken form numerous texture pack including qtp2, qtp3 reduced and jarrods oblivion texture. textures have been reduced and you are provided with a more Beautiful oblivion, without the lag. the pack is mainly aimed at people with 256mb graphics cards and people who are unable to run quarls. i did not make any of these textures and take no credit for them, i just picked out textures and bundled them together. only download these packs if you are able to run oblivion on quite high settings with little lag as these textures will cause some level of lag, depending on your setup. there are two different packs to chose from, medium and low =medium= medium is a further reduced version of qtp3 and users with 256mb graphics cards who also have a very good setup (at least 2gb ram) may want to try this option. this option is also designed for 512mb users who cant use the high pack because the rest of their system isnt up to the job, or because they are using fps consuming mods such as crowded cities and dont want to get rid of it. =low= low consists of a mixture of qualrs texture pack 2, jarods oblivion textures, and koldorns oblivion textures, and is still a great improvement over the vanila textures-desinged for 256mb users, although 512mb users may use it to if they are still experiencing to much lag with the medium pack enjoy ==========Instalation============ the packs must be downloaded in parts due to their size -there are 2 parts to the low textures -there are 4 parts to the medium textures you must download all parts of your chosen pack -- Firstly i suggest making a backup of your oblivion directory, because you may find that you dont like the etxture or that ur pc isnt as good as u thought it was, then to unistall you will have the horrible task of deleting every file one by one.. ok, once youve downloaded your chosen pack, extract all of the files to your oblivion directory, if you are asked to overwrite anything, say yes. then archive invalidate using obmm(included), or what ever method you prefer. load up oblvion, make sure everythings working ok and that you like them, if so good. your ready to go, however at this point i would suggest defraging your hard drive, due to the large amount of data youve been moving about. to uninstall, i suggest oblivion mod remover ==========future plans========== possibly release a pack retexturing armour and other items, but maybe not, if youve got any request, then feel free to ask =============contact============= c
